– Dromedary or Single-humped Arabian camels which can carry 200 kg weight are more commonly seen in Somalia.
-It’s the state heritage animal of Rajasthan.
-Dromedary means “running” or “runner” in Greek. They are also called a “Running camel”, used for riding.
-They can run at a top speed of 65 km/hr.
