In which district of Uttar Pradesh, the UP FPO Shakti Portal is launched?

🗞️ Key Points
→ Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath launched the UP FPO Shakti Portal as part of the Kisan Kalyan Mission at an event in Gorakhpur.
→ The portal is the first of its kind in the country.
→ It has been developed by the department of agriculture with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and is aimed at benefitting the farmers at the grassroots level.
→ The portal provides a single platform to the farmers, producer groups, traders and the department of agriculture, and other allied departments of the state government.
→ Each FPO will have its section that will comprise the details of its members and farmers can download the UPFPO SHAKTI app on android phones for easy access.

Why this is in news?
→ The Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, allows farmers to sell their harvest outside the notified Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) mandis without paying any State taxes or fees.
→ Many protests were organized by the Farmer's Union against this bill.
