    🔑Key Points:
    Union Home Minister Amit Shah on 1 November 2021 launched the Dairy Sahakar scheme at Gujarat's Anand with the overall objectives of doubling the farmers' income and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
    He also addressed Amul's 75th foundation day in Anand.
    He also inaugurated 4.18 kilometres long elevated corridor from Gota Flyover to Science City Box in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat.

    He addressed the 'Rashtriya Ekta Divas' (National Unity Day) programme at Kevadia in Gujarat's Narmada district on the occasion of the 146th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October 2021.
    The Dairy Sahakar scheme has a total investment budget of Rs 5000 crore will be implemented by NCDC (National Cooperative Development Corporation) under Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India to realize the vision, “from cooperation to prosperity". 
    Financial support will be extended by NCDC to eligible cooperatives for activities such as bovine development, milk procurement, processing, quality assurance, value addition, branding, packaging, marketing, transportation and storage of milk and milk products, exports of dairy products.
