    ✅Explanation: The Imperial Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) was established on July 16, 1929, as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. This institute was established by the Government of India in 1905 in the village of Pusa in north Bihar. It was moved to New Delhi in 1936 after a devastating earthquake in 1934.  Now, the ICAR has its headquarters in New Delhi.
